At lesson 7, the teachers stopped revising what they have taught from Lesson 1 to 3. They only revised starting from Lesson 4 to 6. This didn’t come as a surprise to me. It’s definitely not possible to revised so many lessons learnt.
For the first time ever, they conduct their lesson with a story. I always feel story telling is important. This story is about the need of washing hands once it get dirty.
Most tots listened attentively.
Yvette loves the craft too. She did it all by herself and while we are doing, I took the opportunity to “test” her out. And surprisingly, she remembered all the name for the fingers.
The class suddenly became so lively after the craft making. All the children was happily holding their hands to do “Hi-5”. Yvette was trying to use “the hand she made” to do Hi-5 with the teacher too.
At the end of the lesson, every tot was given sticker before we went off. And I notice Yvette usually will patiently waiting for her turn.
And for the first time ever, the teacher spoken to me passing comment that Yvette was a shy little girl. I know Yvette is not shy. She just need more time to warm up. And this is my reply to the teacher.
