I am early, really early today. I am up at 6.30 am and couldn’t sleep anymore. Actually I was feeling unwell yesterday. My whole body is aching and actually I am having sore throat. But after taking medication and slept early, I am feeling slightly better today.
I got up early, login internet and start having some “Me-Time” before Yvette is up.
I cooked noodles as breakfast for her and lunch too.
We managed to leave home early too. We took bus to school and on our way there, I saw a group of student from Chiltern House was doing some nature study. I am more and more convince this school is a good preschool but it is just too far away from our house. (I don’t wish to let Yvette travel too far to school everyday.)
Yvette only play with the baby doll during the Free Play.
Perhaps this was taught during the Monday Add On Mandarin lesson; Yvette is always the only child that move forward to the teacher.
She was happy to move forward to get the Magic Box together with the teacher too.
Today they were learning the word – 快 and the drum was used to teach the concept. Beating the drum in slow and fast manner creating different sound properly will make the child understand better.
She did two crafts. The craft at the top was a wind-wheel with a cat and a mouse. The second craft below is about the race of the hare and the tortoise. Both crafts were to illustration the concept – 快.
The Race of the Hare & the Tortoise was read aloud by the teacher in class. After the story-telling, they have another activity. It was a race among the toddlers. This was really fast. We completed twice and we won twice. Yvette teamed up with this 20 mths little girl. She is the one that she played with during the first lesson. And both of them were so co-operative, that why we won the race. I am the one holding their hand running toward the chair and made one round and ran back!
This is the snack of today lesson. Yvette managed to finish them all.
Yvette had fun during the outdoor play and Music & Movement. And today class end with full of excitement for the toddlers because Teacher Lee blew some bubbles and the kids have fun chasing them.
