We have not been bringing Yvette to swim since last Oct 08. Hubby had been busy with his work and his studies. (Hubby is doing some part time course now.) During the weekends, the pool is usually packed with people thus I don’t really like to bring Yvette to swim. As for weekday, Hubby needs to attend class on Mon, Wed and Fri. It only left with Tues and Thurs if we wanted to bring Yvette to swim. But usually we will give it a miss. Too tiring.
Look at these two pics. Yvette has changed. She has grown up!
We went down to Downtown East to attend my sis’s best friend daughter 2 years birthday party. We seize the opportunity to let Yvette into the pool again.
Initially Yvette was quite afraid of going into the water. We tried to engage her by sitting at the side of the pool and play water with her. Soon, she started to get excited. And she started wanting my hubby go get her down to the pool. The max height in this pool is only 0.3 meter with slide. We moved ourselves to the 0.1 meter pool so that Yvette can move by herself (by crawling) and to avoid crowd. We followed everywhere she crawled. She seemed to enjoy herself a lot and refused to let me carry her away from her “water world”. 😀 (We have locked up all our valuable in the locker. That why I didn’t take any pics of Yvette having fun in the water.)
When I removed her from the pool, her knees were a bit sore. The tile of the pool is rough. My hubby said that was to prevent people from fall. We only spent an hour in the pool but I can tell Yvette loves it a lot. Hubby said we will back to the pool after his studies end in mid June.
