Term 4: Twenty Lesson with JGC

It’s finally an end. Today we had our last lesson in PlayNest and Yvette will be promoted to PlayClub next year. I think I am going to miss some of the mummies and babies there. I think Yvette will miss May. Both May and Yvette can play very well together. I have never seen they fight over toys, they always wait for each other to finish playing then they will proceed. What a chemistry they have. Wendy, May’s mum always claims that they have fate. Oh well, I hope we can stay in touch. (Keeping in touch is very easily said than done.)

The flow for the today class as follow:

-> Puppet Time: It’s a Gina Giraffe

-> Good Morning Song

-> Messy Activity: Making own Pizza

-> Snack Time: Party Time

-> Outdoor Play @ Indoor Playground

-> Music and Movement & Gift exchange moment

Again, Yvette didn’t have liking for giraffe.

Yvette did the pizza all by herself. I only peeled off the tape behind and she sticks the “topping” onto the pizza. That’s why it all out away from the pizza.

I love Christmas, it a season for sharing joy. We had our First Christmas Party today. Love the atmosphere created by the teachers.

At the end of the class, the kids have their gift exchange. I collected the certificate of graduation for Yvette and we have group photo taking.

Term 4: Nineteen Lesson with JGC

Everything went well in this morning except I almost forgotten we need to attend class.

The flow for the today class as follow:

-> Puppet Time: It’s a Giraffe (I have forgotten the name)

-> Good Morning Song

-> Messy Activity: Noisy Activity: Cymbals Clash!

-> Snack Time: Cookies (All food serve in JG are mostly organic.)

-> Outdoor Play @ Indoor Playground

-> Music and Movement

Yvette didn’t have liking for giraffe. When it came near; she shies away.

Yvette loves the playing with Cymbals and we have that at home too. But as there were so many babies/toddlers playing with it, it’s really noisy.

I collected all the art works done by Yvette from Teacher Winnie last lesson. I was so happy to see them. It’s just like collecting my daughter’s report book.

After class, I headed Tangs for our lunch. The nursing room at Tangs was so cosy. I managed to get a pair of sock for Yvette. Tangs tied balloons onto the toy dogs as part of the décor. Yvette and I were so amused by the idea and both of us kept looking at it. It’s so CUTE! Personally I like the dog a lot and I have requested them to keep one for us as currently it went out of stock.

Term 4: Eighteen Lesson with JGC

This morning hubby was around to help out. He bathed Yvette for me and I have more time to prepare the necessary. But hubby had to leave home before us as his medical appointment was at 10.00 am and Yvette was upset to see her dad left home without her.

The flow for the today class as follow:

-> Puppet Time: Pearlcy Pig (weird name)

-> Good Morning Song

-> Messy Activity: Playing with sponge and ice

-> Snack Time: Crispy Brown Rice (All food serve in JG are mostly organic.)

-> Outdoor Play @ Indoor Playground – Playing with mud – made of corn flour and colouring agent.

-> Music and Movement

Yvette wasn’t interested in playing the mud but she was fine with the sponge and the ice. In fact, she is playing the sponge every day. Something will take her attention for 10 to 15 mins in the bath room.

While some babies/toddlers were playing with the mud, she proceeded to the kitchen area. I think she really like this toy.

It was pouring when the class ended. Daddy made a quick decision to rush over from Shaw House to Forum when the rain was not that heavy. We have lunch together and headed home.

P/S: Sonya was that you at Daiso today who had stroked Yvette?

Term 4: Seventeen Lesson with JGC

This morning was an extremely early morning for me. Yvette didn’t go back to her dream land after the morning feed and we both were up by 8 am. Since we were early, I brought her to market and do marketing and then of course, we were early for class. And she was in high spirit when we left home.

JGC - 2nd Term12

The flow for the today class as follow:

-> Puppet Time: Pearlcy Pig (weird name)

-> Good Morning Song

-> Messy Activity: Banana Exploration

-> Snack Time: Cookies (All food serve in JG are mostly organic.)

-> Outdoor Play @ Indoor Playground

-> Music and Movement

The messy activity didn’t benefit us today. It was all about peeling off the banana’s skin and touching and feeling the banana. I have done this with Yvette long ago. But definitely did benefit some of the child in class.

Yvette liked Pearlcy. She didn’t turn away from “her” when “she” was approaching. Yvette kissed her goodbye when we were leaving too at the end of the class.

I am glad Yvette didn’t throw any tantrum when she was feeling tired. (Is this a sign of going to drop off her morning nap??? PLEASE don’t wake up so early ok, my girl. I need the 2 hours sleep!!!) We were in our usually routine (having her lunch at nursing room at Scott Isetan.) and she dozed off during the bus ride home. (She slept thru the whole afternoon. She woke up around 4 plus.)
