Today Yvette learnt the following:
Numbering the number of babes in class and singing all the “welcome song”.
Letter T
The puppet introduced was Tiger.
Words associated with letter are Tiger, tambourine and the number tenth. (A repetitive session.)
Story-telling and Zoo phonics followed by.
Water Break time (5-10mins)
Mandarin Play
3 activities were done and 2 songs were taught today. The 2 songs were repeat session.
The third activity, I think is not a bad try but I guess babes won’t understand. The teacher gave us “money” and set up a counter to sell the toys to the babes. In short, it’s teaching the concept of buying and selling and money.
Art and craft was next.
Play with paint again… Faintz.
Honestly I don’t really like to do painting in class. Firstly I have dressed Yvette nicely. Secondly, it’s not easy to do with some many babes around. Thirdly, cleaning them is a problem too.
Today we did Tomato Stamping. (Will update the art work when I got it back from them.)
The teachers showed the babes tomato. It was passed around to the babes and let them feel and touch.
Yvette loves it!
In the end, she played with the paint without fail and ended like“flower cat” (花猫).The paint is all over her face, hands and even legs. Fortunately the paint is very easy to remove using water.

Tomato Stamping
There is one pro babe attended the trial class today. Her vocal development is really powerful at the age of 14 months. Her name is Azalea (a flower). She can tell us her name effortlessly. It is such a difficult word to pronounce (at least to me).
Her granny told us, at the age of 4 mths she know how to call papa. At the age of 6-7 she started to greet others. She knows A is for Apple, B is for boy and that can go on and on. 真厉害!
As for Yvette, as expected, not playing much attention but I can’t blame her for that. I have robbed her sleep to attend class.
