娃娃独立班 @ Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Arts & Cultural Troupe – Term 1 Lesson 1

No more parents accompanied class for Yvette. Finally a year hard work from me, Yvette is able to blend in the class very well. She was there first. She started with books then moved on to the toys. I found that going there early indeed helps her to warm up.

From far, I could tell she has no problem all by herself. C and G (her pal in music class) joined her in this class too. I love to see all these girls grown up together as most likely Yvette and G will be the only child in the family.

娃娃亲子班 @ Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Arts & Cultural Troupe – Term 3 Lesson 13

Haha.. I know this is a bit not right but I am trying to keep up in Dec as such I decided to pen in this post while trying to fill in the gap. I must say attending this enrichment class has add on to her interest in Chinese and the lesson is really value for money. (I guess I have emphasized this point again and again.)

Anyway, this is last lesson of term 3. This term they are learning Animals and Frog is the last animal for this term.

The craft for this term is really interesting and I really heart the frog as much as Yvette. She is coping well and from time to time I did see she is trying to put in effort to “detach” from me.

We will be taking 4 weeks break after this lesson. And I am so happy Gwyn and Crystal are joining her. I hope she will continue to love this class with new accompany – her friends.

Open For Registration–Hokkien Huay Kuan

I received a letter yesterday informing me the classes for next year is opened for registration and I have decided to continue sending Yvette to this enrichment class.

The registration dates for 2012 classes are on 08th Oct 2011 & 09th Oct 2011 from 0900-1730 respectively.

There is one reader asking me how good is Cherry Tots. I won’t say this is the best class but it has really capture Yvette’s interest in learning Chinese. She is always looking forward to go to the class.

Having said that, Yvette is now in opposition to go class on her own despite we been preparing her for the change. I hope she will finally receptive to it and love this enrichment class more.

Initially I do have a second thought to sign Yvette up for their Fun Chinese. But due to the fact, it will be her first time attending the enrichment class on her own, I decided to drop this idea because Fun Chinese will be a big change for her. It is a 90 mins class instead of 75 mins.

Lastly, here is the course outline for Cherry tots for 3 yo. (For the benefit of some readers out there, I took this from school and post it here.)
