3rd Round Of Fever Attack Within 2 Months

With iPhone, it has made human connection faster. This morning, Stella highlighted to me everyone is falling sick when we were checking on each other over our health status.

Besides me, Yvette is another victim. She was down with fever again. The temperature was 39.1 in the early morning 5 am but it dropped to 36.5 before I left home this morning. (I have given her a dose of bufen.) This is the third round of fever attack within two months and that make me worry. She is not someone that has weak health. We have ensure she has balance diet and moreover she is a vegetable and fruit lover. With supplement and TMC in place,

I don’t quite understand how come the fever attack her again and again. The weather is so erratic and the virus everywhere. Well, I know I have been that sick and for this round, I believe I could be the culprit who passed the virus to her.

S$350 Lesson

My iPhone was dropped into the toilet bowl by Yvette on Monday evening. (Let me not go into the detail on how this accident happened because that’s not the purpose of this post.)

Hubby brought this phone down to Com Centre @ Somerset without furnishing much information on how this phone became faulty. Anyway Smart phone are smart. They have the water detection indicator that able to detect whether the phone is damaged by the liquid. So the warranty will be automatically voided.

There is no way this phone can be repaired because Apple doesn’t provide such service due to this reason and the damage of replacing the new phone is S$350. We can’t recontract because we got this phone during last Christmas. As such, there are no other choice, unless I don’t want to carry iPhone anymore.

And so Hubby paid S$350 for this new phone with only one month warranty period

The best part is not only how expensive the phone is. The replacement phone is still iPhone 4 and SingTel did not hand over the charger and the ear piece to my hubby telling him the cost is solely for the phone!

 Oh SingTel!

P/S: No wonder some people still refuse to change to Smart Phone.

Spring Cleaning Before Christmas

Remember there is a green colour round table  in our living hall. I have removed this table and asked hubby to buy us new shelving unit to keep the toys and books. As I been stressing how important the living environment for a child to nurture habits and reading, I have certainly spent lots of time revamping the house again.

I started to pack Yvette’s toys and books on last Saturday. I took two days to finish all the packing and here are the result which I love it so much as of now.

I swapped the little table from the diagonal corner to this corner with her little piano. We brought two magenta shelves (colour chosen by Yvette) from the furniture near our house. Initially we plan to get it from Ikea. But after considering the cost and time involve, we abolished the decision. I love our new shelves. Instead of placing them in standing position, I choose to lay them flat on the ground so that I can slack them up. I plan to buy another one to maximize the storage space.

Here the close up of the shelves. Going forward, instead of leaving Yvette’s bag on the floor, now she has to place her bag onto the shelves like what is practiced in school. Books are consolidated here too instead of placing them all over the living room now. (Removed the learning material from the TV console too.)

Now the shelving units that near the door will only pack with toys. (Above picture. Below picture is the overall feel of the hall now.)

Since we have made several trips to Ikea before we finalized this decision. We found this very useful. Again this to culture good habit and easy assess of material.

As I mentioned I have consolidated most all the books and packed them neatly again. I have removed those materials I used to teach Yvette to another room and moved down most books. Yvette had grown taller and now she is able to reach out book in the first level. (This is the book shelves storage unit in her room.)

Lastly this is the setup of our cozy room now.

Wow, while updating the post, I read back my archive and noted that this was the sixth time I repack our living hall. (Read the history here.)

Young Beginner’s Course Term 2 – Lesson 7

Yvette had shown improvement. Her fingering has stabilized for figure 2 & 3. In fact I could see she could apply strength to finger 4 and control it. Well, it a big bonus to me already.

This is the piece of work they play in class.

She has no problem doing all these by herself.

And lastly here my cheeky little girl. (See the little hair clip!)
