Yvette was exceptional well behaviour this morning. Very co-operative till the extend I even have time to iron some clothes before we left home. She even fed herself half a bowl of Fried Rice that make my day!
Only 7 tots attended today class. The only boy in class was dress in Pink too. He’s so handsome. Sometimes even we were there early, Yvette didn’t really engaged herself during the play. Perhaps too many toys at home? Anyway, Yvette behave very differently in school and at home.
Most of the time, she will just stick to me during the class. She hardly move around which is good cos she won’t cause any distraction to other children. And I don’t need to discipline her. But this behaviour might also hinder her. She’s not as participative in class as I want her to be.
They did two crafts today. A ginger bread man and a ice-cream. Yvette loves sweets but never ice-cream. Eating ice-cream with Yvette can be stressful. She loves the ice-cream cone only. I shared in the class and Ryan’s Mummy have given me one good suggestion. Buy additional cone and put some ice-cream so that Yvette will enjoy the cone as well have some taste of ice-cream.
They have Magic Box Time, Story-telling and then Bear Time. Item introduced during the Magic Box is a toy(I don’t how to describe the toy) that is pink in colour. Please don’t chat to the Bus Driver is the book read. As for the Bear Drama Time, we went out to buy sweet… haha… yes, I have to admit I spoil her to rotten at times. But she really hardly asked for it especially in class. And this was the first time she cried in class (one of the mummies also realised Yvette hardly throw tantrums or cries in class.) asking for sweet.
Knowing this will not be very hard for me to give in, I compromised and went down to Toy R US to buy a packet of Gummies bear for her.
She was happily back with her sweet and only ate two pieces of Gummies. She finished all her snack and enjoy the Music and Movement. (I think I have made her day too with sweet!!!)
Time flies whenever they are having Free Play.
