Term 4: Seventeen Lesson with JGC

This morning was an extremely early morning for me. Yvette didn’t go back to her dream land after the morning feed and we both were up by 8 am. Since we were early, I brought her to market and do marketing and then of course, we were early for class. And she was in high spirit when we left home.

JGC - 2nd Term12

The flow for the today class as follow:

-> Puppet Time: Pearlcy Pig (weird name)

-> Good Morning Song

-> Messy Activity: Banana Exploration

-> Snack Time: Cookies (All food serve in JG are mostly organic.)

-> Outdoor Play @ Indoor Playground

-> Music and Movement

The messy activity didn’t benefit us today. It was all about peeling off the banana’s skin and touching and feeling the banana. I have done this with Yvette long ago. But definitely did benefit some of the child in class.

Yvette liked Pearlcy. She didn’t turn away from “her” when “she” was approaching. Yvette kissed her goodbye when we were leaving too at the end of the class.

I am glad Yvette didn’t throw any tantrum when she was feeling tired. (Is this a sign of going to drop off her morning nap??? PLEASE don’t wake up so early ok, my girl. I need the 2 hours sleep!!!) We were in our usually routine (having her lunch at nursing room at Scott Isetan.) and she dozed off during the bus ride home. (She slept thru the whole afternoon. She woke up around 4 plus.)

  1. Ideally, my son takes 1 nap at 12.30pm-2.30pm. Anymore than that, and I’d have a terrible time at night with a wide-awake baby and a very very grouchy tired me.
