Yvette was early today. She woke up at 8 am and she refused to get back to sleep again. Nevertheless, since today is the first day of our renovation and papa is at home, I let Yvette be. (Hubby will be working from home for this period of renovation)
Yvette was happy to see her daddy at home. Everything was so easy for me this morning except feeding Yvette breakfast. She has not been eating much. She usually eats very little in the morning and gobble up her lunch or sometimes dinner. Although she is not eating as much as I hope for, she does put on 200g since the last weight measurement taken in Sept 11. (This is a lot to me already.)
We left home at around 10.20 am. And I realized I have forgotten my hand phone. I quickly called back home using the public phone to inform my hubby. (I found out the talk time for public phone goes down. Now we can only talk 2 mins for 10 cents.)
Haiz.
Without phone and camera, I am not able to take picture of Yvette in Malay costume. (I only dressed Yvette in Malay costume in school.)
Well, although I didn’t manage to capture the moment in school, we still took a picture of her in that costume at my SIL’s house.

We couldn't take a nice Pic of her in Malay costume. (I altered the skirt myself. A mini skirt.)
Yvette was grumpy today. She didn’t want any of her teachers to touch her. She received a lot of compliment over the costume, but I doubt she knew what was happening. But I am happy that I have chosen the right outfit for her. (Hubby commented she look like Ma Lai Mui, malay girl.) (By the way, we were the only Non-Malay who has dressed up.)
She was tired in the middle of class. I guess mainly due to she was up early today. She showed no interest in doing the Leafy Vegetable Collage. Materials used for this craft are curry leaves, parsley and contact paper. Snack time was right after the craft. Today, mummies had snacks too. One of the mummies brought some festive cookies to share with us.
We proceeded to outdoor play. Yvette had “advanced” her motor skill today. I saw her holding a ball using her hand and used another hand held on to rail of the indoor slide and walked up the stair herself steadily.
Class ended with the usual song. I proceeded to Scott Isetan to feed Yvette lunch. Yvette didn’t eat much. We left the place after I had packed my lunch and headed to my SIL’s place at Bishan.
P/S: So many exciting moments but I got no pictures and video to capture them. Sad.
