Term 3: Lesson 1 with Little Neuro Tree (TPY) (Japanese)

LNT kicked off the new term with the Japanese class today. And this class is full. 6 children altogether. Honestly, I wasn’t very pleased the moment I stepped in the class knowing we were having a full class. And my intuition was right. This class was extremely noisy. It was worst class I ever attended with Yvette. (Even in GUG, we had more than 10 babes & 10 adults and the class was still manageable.)

Let me tell you why.

There’s a little girl, I am not sure how old she was, but she was extremely noisy. Her mum couldn’t control her at all. I’m never worry too much on Yvette not being able to walk but after today class, I blamed myself on not being more persistent on encouraging her to do so even I have tried. This girl kept walking toward us and trying to get hold of Yvette from times to times. And she was so big; I think she was more than 15 moths. She walked really steadily. When she walked toward us; (there were two empty seats between us as 2 children missed class today) her mum will grab hold of her, she will definitely scream at her top of her voice. This had distracted another child at another corner, who was definitely much younger, guess under 12mths to scream with her too. Can you imagine how noisy this class was? Sometimes, Yvette will get a shock and will also scream together with them. Argh! (I was really afraid if I wasn’t paying much attention, she will come forward and grab hold of Yvette and knock Yvette down. I couldn’t leave my eye away from Yvette at all. Luckily we were sitting at the end of the table which enabled me to trap Yvette at the corner.)

During class, she simply just can’t stop yelling and screaming. I can see from her mum’s expression and eye, she was really terribly upset that she couldn’t even control her own child. Eventually, the teacher couldn’t stand it as she was really distracting the class; she was asked to be pacified outside the class.

This was unbelievable!

We had attended so many classes prior than this; I have never encountered any child asked to leave the class by the teacher till she was calmed down.

Well, sad to say, the class was in chaos today although the teacher still manages to teach.

2. Scooping (for feeding purpose)

Immediately after the class, I went straight to the reception. I enquired will there be another class, the reception told me it might be. But the timing is not good. (I think next week I need to check the age group of this class too.) I voiced out my concerns as I see potential threat Yvette (and other children) might be facing.

Another 11 lessons to go!

Fried Peas, Carrot with Minced Meat

When I ran out of ideas what to cook for dinner, usually I will seek help from hubby. This very simple dish my hubby missed cooked by his late mother.

Ingredients:

Garlic

Carrot

Peas (If you don’t like to use canned food, you can either get those frozen peas or fresh peas from market.)

Minced Meat (Marinated with soya sauce and some pepper)

The ingredients

Methods:

1. Sauté Garlic
2. Add peas & Carrot. Stir fry for 2 mins
3. Add minced meat.
4. Remove from wok once the meat is cooked.

The end product

Try it. This is only less than a 10 mins job!
