Molar

Yvette has been putting her index finger into her mouth recently.

What’s so great about putting her finger into her mouth? All babies do that, don’t they?

Errm, no. Yvette weaned herself off this habit long ago. In fact she doesn’t really put her fingers into her mouth often. Anyway, I don’t really check on her gum recently too although I am fully aware her molar is on the way but I don’t expect the outcome of my discovery today.

When we were checking out our purchases at the cashier, I saw a tooth emerged through her gum.

Wow, I exclaimed.

Dear I think her molar is out but it’s not the one I am expected. It’s the left bottom molar. No wonder she keeps putting her finger into her mouth recently.

When we were backed home, I quickly washed my hand and put my finger into her mouth and check.

Woot! Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

Altogether, I found out there were three molars cut thru her gum this round! Hehe, she can have wider choice of food now!

Bathing Time

Yvette enjoys playing with water but never likes water get into her eyes. Since she was a little baby, she is bathed in this little “bath tub” and now it is time for a promotion.

When she is in the tub with water, she always holds on to the bowl into standing position. She loves to stand with support and sometimes without, but walking is definitely not her cup of tea. Anyway, in order to ensure Yvette don’t fall easily in the bathroom I brought a bigger anti-slip bath mat for Yvette from Kiddy Palace.

After implemented this change, I find bathing Yvette is fast and saves water. And slowly, she kind of accepting water getting into her eyes when I am using the showerhead on her.  Let’s hope she will continue to adapt to this new way of bathing her without making any fuss over it.
